Friends of Alfie Johnson Summer Ball
The Friends of Alfie Johnson Summer Ball has been running since 2009 and remains our most successful event to date. This event alone has raised more than £150,000 and year on year, hundreds of our guests return to enjoy this inspirational and popular event, which we have held in The Earls Suite, Copthorne Hotel, Merry Hill since the very start. Sadly, the 2020 Summer Ball had to be cancelled, along with all our other events due to the on-going Coronavirus Pandemic. We are hopeful that we will return later in the Autumn for the 2021 Welcome Back Ball.
Great Midlands Fun Run
Another long-standing event we partake in, is the Great Midlands Fun Run. We have been entering this important annual fundraising event since 2009, and we have been joined by hundreds of Team Alfie members along the way, raising more than £40,000 for our charity.
The Great Midlands Fun Run has been running since 2003 and has helped to raise more than £3,000,000 for good-causes and charities, just like ours.
