Since the Friends of Alfie Johnson was formed, back in 2009, with Your Help we have been able to greatly improve the quality of Alfie's life.

The money raised so far had been put to great use. Back in July 2009, the proceeds from The Summer Ball allowed us to build a Sensory Room at Alfie's home to aid his development. The equipment was very expensive and without Your Help, it would not have been possible to create such a magical environment for Alfie, to enhance and assist in his long term development.

2010 has also been a fantastic year in terms of fund-raising. More than £10,000 has been raised through a number of different events, again, with the help of some fantastic people. The funds raised has helped in the purchase of a new specialist car seat. We have also ordered Alfie his very own special arm-chair so he can relax at home in the comfort of his own seat. These two items alone cost in excess of £3,000, again, not possible without Your Help.

Alfie has also re-visited the Brainwave Centre in Somerset to continue his specailist programme to assist in his development. Since doing the programme, Alfie has improved significantly in his abilities thanks to this.
Your Help has allowed Alfie to gain access to this wonderful place, helping children with developmental delay and brain injuries.
