On the 23rd July, a dedicated team of nine people will be putting their stamina and fitness to the test.

The 3 Peaks Team 2010, are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge in a hope of raising as much money as possible to help Alfie with his on going care and support.

3 Peaks team Challenge team member, Gemma Yarwood, had this to say about their up and coming Challenge:

"At approximately 5pm on Friday 23rd July 2010 members of the HPA CRCE
rounders team (and a few honorary extras!) will begin their ascent of
Ben Nevis in Scotland. Just 24hours later, after travelling via Scafell
Pike in the Lake District, they will (hopefully!) succesfully complete
their 3 peaks challenge as they descend Snowdon in Wales.

The team have been training towards this (come sun, rain, hail and
snow!) for the last fews months and hope that by July they will be
ready to achieve their goal - all in aid of the Friends of Alfie
Johnson.
