Help for a child with cerebral palsyAnna

Anna is a beautiful 2-year-old girl, who lives at home with her mom, dad and big brother.

She has spent much of her life in and out of hospital as a result of her complex needs. Anna was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy and suffers with sensory neural loss, she is also fed via a naso gastric tube.

During sessions with the Speech and Language team, Anna has demonstrated that she is able to purposefully activate switches to operate toys and control ‘cause and effect’ games on an ipad.

Last year, we received a request for help to provide Anna with a range of switches and accessories, so that she could continue the positive work she has demonstrated during communication development sessions.

We are delighted to inform you that through funds raised by you, our wonderful supporters, we met with Anna and her mother this week, to deliver a range of switches and accessories to support her on-going development.

Thank you all so much for making this possible for a very special little girl and her wonderful family.
