On Friday 13th November, the Friends of Alfie Johnson hosted their Black Country Night Out at the Cradley Heath Liberal Club. Top Black Country comedian, Tommy Mundon performed along with Bev Pegg and Marlene and went down a storm with the audience. We would like to thank them all for making the night a huge success.
Through ticket sales, raffle tickets and a mountain bike auction the sell-out event raised a total of £2145 for Alfie. We were overwhelmed by the amount raised and would like to thank everyone who attended the event for making it so special.
The 1st prize of £100 was won by Roger and Sheila Lane who very kindly donated it back to Alfie, we are truly grateful for their kindness. The mountain bike was won by Lee Mansell of LGM Covers and he kindly donated it for auction at next year’s Summer Ball at the Copthorne Hotel, which we are very grateful for.
We would like to thank the Cradley Heath Liberal Club for hosting the event, there Fish & Chip supper went down a treat with everyone.
Again, thank you to everyone who attended our event, your continued love and support is greatly appreciated. The funds you all helped to raise will now ensure that Alfie is able to attend Brainwave in Somerset so he can benefit from the specialist care at their Centre.
